Most Common

Regular Membership

$220 / year (pro-rated)

Must be 18 years or older
Actively engaged in locksmith services
Minimum 2 years experience
Deriving income from the trade
Full voting rights & office eligibility

Junior Apprentice

Ages 12–17
Studying under an active Regular member
No criminal records check required
Growing toward full membership

Associate Member

Locksmiths, supply salesmen, factory reps
Full access to events & networking
Cannot hold office or vote

Non-Members: You may attend classes at quarterly meetings. Registration: $50 · Classes: $100 per 3–4 hour block.

Sponsors must submit a completed application no later than 30 days prior to the meeting at which the applicant wishes to be considered.

$10 application fee (required)
Criminal records check from all jurisdictions resided in for the past 5 years (waived for junior membership)
Photocopy of valid NC state license or proof of active locksmithing practice
Passport-style photograph (head & shoulders)
